Thousands of years ago, ancient people would engrave words on animal bones,
and later on bamboo and wood.
During the Western Han Dynasty, people began using hemp to make paper.
It wasn't until Cai Lun of the Eastern Han Dynasty improved the papermaking process
that he became known as the ancestor of papermaking.
He used tree bark, hemp, scraps of fabric, and discarded fishnets as raw materials
To create a lightweight and economical paper.
Later, through the exploration and summarization of our predecessors,
a relatively standardized papermaking process was developed.
